What we believe

----------------------

Religious Meditation

The Holy Scriptures

We believe the Holy Bible, consisting of both the Old and New Testaments, to be the verbally inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God, and the only rule of faith and conduct.

The Eternal Godhead

We believe in the one true God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, who are distinguishable yet indivisible.

The Lord Jesus Christ

We believe in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His atoning death on the cross, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to heaven, and His future personal return for the Church.

Salvation of Man

We believe that all people are sinners and are in need of salvation through the grace of God alone, received through repentance and faith in the perfect and sufficient work of Christ on the cross. This results in the new birth, making one a new creature in Christ Jesus.

The Baptism in the Holy Spirit

We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit as a distinct experience from and subsequent to salvation, which is given to empower believers for service and an inspired witness for Christ.

We believe the scriptural evidence of this experience is often accompanied by the spiritual gift of speaking with other tongues as the Spirit enables. While this experience can be evidenced by speaking

in tongues, it is our stance that the main evidence of being filled with Holy Spirit is a transformed life and the power thereof.

The Gifts of the Spirit

We believe that the gifts of the Holy Spirit as described in 1 Corinthians 12:7-11 are in operation today and are essential for the Church. These manifestations of the Spirit are given to every believer for the edification of the church and the glory of God.

These gifts include word of wisdom, word of knowledge, faith, healing, miraculous powers, prophecy, discernment of spirits, speaking in tongues, and interpretation of tongues.

Divine Healing

We believe that divine healing is provided for in the atonement of Christ and is an ongoing promise for believers today, available through faith.

The Church and the Great Commission

We believe the Church is the Body of Christ and that every born-again believer is an integral part of it. We are committed to world evangelism and missionary work in accordance with the Great Commission, with signs and wonders following, demonstrating God's love and power to the world.
